Questions about running a shiva
What does the shiva manager do?
Someone close – a relative or a friend – who takes on all the logistics: equipment, meals, the minyan, rides and visiting hours. That way the mourners do not have to answer questions or coordinate anything.
Are the details saved on the site?
No. The list and the details are saved only on your device. The meals board is the only tool shared between people, and the phone numbers on it are visible to the family only.
How are the prayer times calculated?
From the sunset time in the city you choose: Mincha about 20 minutes before sunset and Arvit at nightfall. These are suggestions – adjust them to the custom of your community.
