What does it solve?
Dozens of "can I come now?" calls, visitors arriving during rest hours, food piling up, and a minyan short by one. One link sent once to the groups – after that the family only taps a button, and everyone sees it.
How does it work for the family?
Fill in the family name, address and visiting hours (pre-filled if you used the shiva manager) and get two links: one for visitors and an admin link. The admin link has six status buttons: receiving visitors · resting now (until an hour) · need a minyan · no more food today · we need… · closed for today. One tap – everyone is updated.
What do visitors see?
They open the link (from the WhatsApp group, or by scanning the QR on the door sign) and see a large, clear status, when it was updated, the address with Waze navigation, visiting and prayer hours, and links to the meals board and the memory collection if the family opened them. The page refreshes itself every minute.
What is stored on the server?
Only what the family wrote for the sign: family name, the deceased's name, address, hours, and the current status. No data about visitors, no sign-up, no tracking. The page is deleted from the server 30 days after the last update, or immediately at the family's request. It does not appear in search engines.
Who can update?
Whoever holds the admin link – the family, or whoever runs the house for them. Send it to one or two people only. Visitors get the regular link only.
